Renowned for its traditional hospitality, this early 20th-century mansion, home to a prominent textile Merchant and entrepreneur was host to Mahatma Gandhi, who first stayed here for a few days after his return from South Africa in 1915. This palatial building was restored with an aim to adaptively reuse the spaces to cater to a modern lifestyle without losing either the historical perspective or the traditional customs of a Gujarati home!
